Yes but… I was writing from the perspective of anyone who wants to avoid uncomfortable truth.

It’s unforgivable whether we avoid it or not. Agonizing if we try to see.

thank you. People shouldn't be turning away. It's why a LOT of people are in the streets, organizing, awakening to the lies & propaganda being fed to keep them blind & comfortable.

“Do not think yourself better because you are killing these people at a distance, and with great ease, and can defend yourself by saying that it was their fault, and that they were terrible people.

“Instead, listen to the words of your brother’s lips. Listen to his song, his story. Hear what he has to say. Know that he too is human, he too has dreams and loves, fears and hopes.

“Know that you are not above him. And know that the evil you do, you do to yourself.”

-Thomas Merton, Chant to be used in Processions around a site with Furnaces

I don’t think this is primarily about Isralis. It’s about us, Germans, British, Belgian, USAmericans, … us, the bourgeoisie, the middle class, the moderate, the civilized … us, that say “Why can’t they live in peace?” or “I wish them peace!” while meaning “I want my peace and not be disturbed by the consequences of my lifestyle!”

We must teach young men how to be people of integrity and character … to live IN relationship with everyone and all things. Cruel males have destroyed and are destroying all things… all culminating in Climate Crisis debacle and/or nuclear war.

Profound. And teach them not to enter the arms industries. Ever. Or anyone who’s bribed by them.
